11. Bots
This assignment was given during our last class of e-skills. We were given a list with several sites that use an online chat bot system. With these sites we had to research their use of the chat bot system. Out of this we created a PowerPoint which we had to present in class. We also had to formulate an answer to 2 questions:
- How do bots create an improvement?
- What are the most important requisites for a good bot according to us?
Both of these questions will be answered in the last slide of the PowerPoint.

Conclusion:
I found that a lot of sites actually use a chat bot. Even sites such as disney, which you would not suspect. Chat bots are created by the Turing test, something I did not know. It's this kind of test where both a computer & a human being give answers & the person on the other end has to guess which one is the computer & which one is the human.
Chat bots don't analyse your entire question, they search and filter based on keywords. So they need to be able to really recognize those keywords.
A lot of service-based websites implement a chat bot. I believe that chat bots can really mean something for the future. I also enjoyed doing the research for this assignment because it was in class & pretty easy to do & fun to test out.
